This moment in Search is critical. Acting quickly is critical. We're all seeing what's happening to organic traffic. We know what being invisible in AI Search could mean for our brands. And to be honest, I got tired of talking to clients who had no solutions for writing LLM tailored content.
Here is HOW we're doing it 🤠
🔍 Step 1: Understand what LLMs actually rank & how to make your content readable.

This took months of research & is ever evolving but we finally have a playbook.
One of the things I find most fascinating about AEO is all the reports on how quickly content can get ranked by LLMs. The idea that it will take 6 months for your efforts to bear fruit is antiquated.
Now we're writing content that:
- Targets shorter concise questions to appear in AI-Answer engines
- Designed to provide an instant answer to a specific user query
Once we had clarity & a clear playbook, we moved on to measurement.
📏 Step 2: Find a way to measure LLM visibility
We demoed with a ton of start-ups built solely for tracking AI visibility & making content recommendations. There are some amazing tools out there (Peec AI, Gumshoe AI, etc). We are testing a few now and determining which is best for our partners.

Combine that with GA4 referral traffic reports and we're off & running.
✍️ Step 3: Hire industry specific writers who already rank in LLMs
I've spent weeks interviewing with industry specific writers (apparel, b2b, beauty, cpg, travel) who were already ranking on LLMs & had a specific viewpoint on how to work with prompting & AI Search. This has been incredibly insightful and the biggest confidence builder to our willingness to jump into this space.

One thing we realize is that it's more important now to take action vs wait to have the perfect plan. Being early has serious advantages. Not only for ranking but for acquired learnings.
